Natasha Chelva (Psychologist)

Natasha is a registered psychologist specialising in child, adolescent, young adult, and family mental health and well-being. She has trained with Royal Children’s Hospital, The Department of Education, schools and private practices. She works as a school psychologist and in private practice, working with children and adolescents in one-on-one and group settings.

She provides assessment and therapy to children, adolescents and young adults facing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, learning difficulties, peer issues, aggression/anger issues, and adjustment issues (e.g. parental separation).

In counselling sessions, Natasha draws on evidenced-based techniques most suited to the person and the issues presented. Natasha’s main therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Natasha brings a warm, flexible and compassionate approach to her work with families, to support both parents and children to achieve their goals and improve their well-being.
