Harsha George (Registered Psychologist)

Harsha has a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Counselling, and an M. A. in Psychology. She has cross-national experience working in field of mental health, since 2008.

In Melbourne, Harsha has worked as a psychologist since September 2014, providing psychological services under the Better Access system. She has also worked in community health settings like EACH and EMPHN, previously.

She has a wealth of experience working with clients from varied cultures and age groups, presenting with diverse and complex psychological needs.

Harsha has worked with adults and adolescents presenting with Relationship issues, Self- esteem issues, Stress, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and other trauma, Anger management issues, Workplace issues, Life-stage issues, Spiritual issues and Grief and loss.

Harsha ensures that therapy is relevant, by choosing and adapting therapeutic models to suit specific needs. She draws upon techniques from a range of models like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative therapy for grief and loss issues, Single Session therapy.
