Gwendolene (Gwen) Mawoko is a Master of Counseling student with Monash University on placement at Sovereignty Christian Psychology. Gwen is an experienced Christian Counsellor who has been practicing for over 25 years. She is also a pastor, co-pastoring with her husband for over 25 yrs as missionaries in several countries including USA.

Gwen holds the following qualifications; Dip.Th, BBS, MBS, D. Min, Cert. Advanced Christian Counselling, Grad. Cert. Ed. Studies and completes her Master of Counselling this semester. Gwen thrives in counselling adolescents, young adults, couples and families.

Gwen is experienced in counselling clients on the following:

• academic demotivation & exam anxiety

• stress and depression related to bullying and peer-pressure

• family relationships & parenting issues

• grief and loss

• domestic abuse

• self-esteem

• spiritual abuse

• couples’ therapy  

Gwen is particularly gifted in counselling adolescents and couples. She also speaks Shona, Ndebele and a bit of Herero.
