 What we're looking for:

  • High standards of professional practice in psychological treatment
  • Desire & background to practice from a Christian perspective in your professional psychological counselling (as a significant proportion of our clients identify as being Christian and seek to integrate their faith into their life including their therapy
  • Someone who would enjoy working within and support the ethos of Sovereignty Christian Psychology
  • Proven experience to service a sufficient breadth of clients to fit within our team
  • Applicant must have own insurance and be eligible to register with Medicare

This contractual position is negotiable part-time or full-time. A combination of business-hours and after-hours sessions is required.

Relationship Counsellor in a Christian Private Practice

  • Someone who would enjoy working within and support the ethos of Sovereignty Christian Counselling Practice.
  • Proven experience with couple counselling
  • Applicant must have own insurance

This contractual position is part-time. A combination of business-hours and after-hours sessions is required.

  • Passion and expertise to work especially (but not necessarily exclusively) with child and adolescent clients and families Proven experience in working with children and adolescents with a wide range of issues, especially those on the autism spectrum
  • Have experience administering developmental assessments
  • High standards of professional practice in psychological treatment
  • Desire to practice from a Christian perspective in your professional psychological counselling (proven capability to integrate the Christian worldview with Psychology where appropriate)
  • Someone who would enjoy working within and support the ethos of Sovereignty Christian Psychology
  • Proven experience to service a sufficient breadth of clients to fit within our team
  • Applicant must have own insurance and be eligible to register with Medicare
